UnityWorks! Media Products I Have Helped Develop
Video Landing Page (VLP)
Page containing HTML, graphics, and a video. This product can either stand alone or be integrated into an existing website. The basic premise for this product was in place when I started, but it consisted of a blank page hosting a video. I innovated the product in that I made it more of a marketing piece with graphics and a clear Call to Action, thereby turning “our greatest liability into one of our greatest assets,” according to management.
Interactive Video Landing Page (iVLP)
Interactive version of the Video Landing Page. Flash application containing graphics and video which runs off of an XML config file. This product can either stand alone or be integrated into an existing website. I came up with the idea for this product as a way to solve the problem of fitting multiple marketing messages into a predefined space in an existing website. I came up with this idea in order to save a significant deal with a large automotive group, which signed on and increased monthly workload by nearly 30%. After working with a flash developer through several iterations, this product has quickly become one of the main products.
New Vehicle Display
Flash application used to showcase informational videos about new vehicle models. This application runs off of web services and is intended to be integrated into an existing website. I was given the basic idea for this product and was told to run with it. I made all of the design choices for the initial version of this product. Many of my design choices, such as the horizontal carousel, are still in place.
Specials Marquee
Flash application implemented into existing websites that uses a scrollable carousel to display banners that link to VLPs or iVLPs. This application runs off of an XML config file. I came up with the idea for this product so that clients could highlight their VLPs or iVLPs from the home page of their website.
